 nd Advance Human-Based Research. \n\nDoctors Against Animal Experiments (D
 AAE)[^1]\, an NGO based in Cologne\, advocates for a phase-out of animal e
 xperiments and a shift towards ethical\, human-based research. Alongside p
 ublic outreach\, campaigns\, and political advocacy\, DAAE develops and ma
 intains four databases designed to accelerate this transition and make Non
 -Animal Technologies (NATs) more accessible\, transparent\, and usable.\n\
 nTwo of these projects — the NATworks Database and the TTV Database (Tra
 nsparente Tierversuche) — integrate AI-based approaches to process\, str
 ucture\, and provide access to scientific and political information as wel
 l as court rulings.\n\nIn this talk\, Julia Radzwill\, biologist and Scien
 tific Officer at DAAE\, will introduce the databases\, the problems they w
 ere built to address\, and how they can be used to challenge the status qu
 o in animal-based research. Robert Wulff\, IT Administrator and developer 
 of the databases\, will then take a look under the hood\, providing techni
 cal insights into their architecture\, implementation\, and the role AI pl
 ays in turning complex domain specific data into accessible information.\n
 \nThe OpenChaos will be on Thursday\, September 24th\, at Chaos Computer C
 lub Cologne. As usual the talk will begin at 20:00. This talk will be held
